Remodels

Replaster, coping, and tile to bring your pool back to better-than-new.

Pool remodeling for a like-new backyard

Pool remodeling is one of the most rewarding upgrades you can make to your home. True Light Pools helps homeowners across the Brazos Valley and North Houston transform their pools with new interior finishes, waterline tile and coping, creating a backyard that feels brand new.

New interior finishes

Your pool’s interior finish sets the look of the entire pool and the color of the water itself. We drain the pool, prepare the surface, apply your new finish and carefully refill and balance the water. Choose classic white plaster for a bright, clean look, colored plaster for a deeper blue, or a pebble or quartz finish for lasting durability and a natural, textured feel.

Waterline tile

Tile frames your pool and gives it personality. We offer a wide range of styles, from timeless blues and classic ceramic to shimmering glass mosaics, all installed with clean, precise lines.

Coping

Coping is the cap along the edge of your pool. New coping creates a crisp border, feels comfortable underfoot and ties your pool to your patio and landscaping. Choose from natural stone, brick and concrete options to match your home.

Complete makeovers

Many homeowners combine all three for a complete transformation, often alongside upgrades like LED lighting, automation or an energy-efficient variable-speed pump. We’ll help you plan a pool remodeling project that fits your style and your budget.

FAQ

Common questions about remodels

How long does a pool remodel take?

A replaster typically takes one to two weeks, including draining, prep, application and refilling. Adding tile or coping can add time.

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes. We'll visit your pool, talk through options and give you a written quote.

How do I know it's time to replaster my pool?

Look for rough patches that scrape feet, stains that won't come out, peeling or flaking plaster, or bare spots. Most plaster lasts 10 to 15 years before it needs to be redone.
